INSTALLING AND UNINSTALLING WINPEPI:

1). If you downloaded winpepisetup.exe, run it. If you downloaded winpepisetup.zip, extract and then run winpepisetup.exe. This will put all the files in a folder of your choice, replacing previous versions (if any). No changes will be made to the Windows registry. If you downloaded winpepifiles.zip, extract its contents and copy them to a folder of your choice (overwriting any previous versions).

2). During installation, a "WinPepi" desktop icon can be created, as a portal that provides easy access to the programs and manuals, an index to the statistical procedures, saved results, and relevant Internet sites. (The portal can also be accessed by clicking on "Start--> Programs--> Winpepi".)
The portal can also be created by finding winpepi.exe ("WinPepi") in the folder containing the files, and placing a shortcut to it on the desktop.

3). To uninstall, click on "Add or Remove Programs" in the Control Panel. Or merely delete the files.

The programs can be used in any version of Windows except Windows 3.

A report from the McAfee Site Advisor confirms that the Winpepi installation programs are "free of adware, spyware and other potentially unwanted programs".
